This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds, cancellations, and billing for Flashorts AI services and subscriptions. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase, as it forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. Subscription Refunds

Flashorts AI operates on a subscription-based model where payments are processed in advance for the upcoming billing period. Once a subscription fee has been charged and processed, we do not provide refunds for the unused portion of your subscription period, regardless of when you cancel your subscription.

This policy applies to all subscription plans, including monthly and annual subscriptions. By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge and agree that all subscription fees are non-refundable except as explicitly stated in this policy or as required by applicable law.

2. Cancelling Your Subscription

You have the freedom to cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. To cancel:

  1. Log in to your Flashorts AI account
  2. Navigate to the Settings section
  3. Go to the Billing or Subscription area
  4. Click on "Cancel Subscription" and follow the prompts

When you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have full access to all premium features until the end of your current billing cycle. After the billing period expires, your account will be automatically downgraded to a free account with limited functionality. No charges will be applied for subsequent billing periods after cancellation.

3. Credits and One-Time Purchases

If you purchase credits or make one-time purchases through our platform, these transactions are final and non-refundable. Credits purchased are valid for use within your account and cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or refunded once the purchase is completed.

Unused credits will remain in your account and can be used at any time, subject to our Terms and Conditions. Credits do not expire unless your account is terminated for violation of our Terms and Conditions.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

While our standard policy is that all sales are final, we understand that exceptional situations may arise. We may, at our sole discretion, consider the following circumstances for potential account credits or subscription extensions:

  • Extended service interruptions or outages that significantly impact your ability to use the Services
  • Substantial changes to our service offering that materially affect the functionality you purchased
  • Technical issues on our end that prevent you from accessing or using paid features for an extended period
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors (see Section 5 below)

Any requests for exceptions must be submitted to our support team at support@flashorts.com within 30 days of the incident. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis and respond within 5-7 business days. Decisions regarding exceptional circumstances are final and at our sole discretion.

5. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

From time to time, we may offer free trial periods or promotional subscriptions. During any free trial period, you will not be charged for access to premium features. To avoid being charged when the trial period ends, you must cancel your subscription before the trial period expires.

If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged according to the subscription plan you selected. Once charged, the standard refund policy applies.

Promotional offers, discounts, and special pricing are subject to the terms and conditions specified at the time of the promotion. These offers may have specific restrictions regarding refunds and cancellations, which will be clearly communicated during the promotional period.

6. Billing Errors and Disputes

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact our support team immediately at support@flashorts.com. Include the following information in your request:

  • Your account email address
  • Date and amount of the charge in question
  • Transaction ID or receipt number (if available)
  • Description of the issue or error

We will investigate all billing disputes promptly. If we confirm that an error occurred, we will take appropriate corrective action, which may include crediting your account, issuing a refund, or adjusting your subscription. We aim to resolve billing disputes within 5-7 business days of receiving your request.

If you notice unauthorized charges on your payment method, please contact your financial institution immediately and then notify us. We will cooperate with any investigation and take necessary steps to secure your account.

7. Subscription Renewals

Unless you cancel your subscription before the renewal date, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period.

We will send you a reminder email before each renewal, but it is your responsibility to ensure that your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds. If a payment fails, we may suspend your account until payment is successfully processed.

You can disable auto-renewal at any time by canceling your subscription through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged for subsequent periods.

8. Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. If we increase the price of your subscription plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance via email. The new price will apply to your next billing cycle after the notice period.

If you do not agree to the price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to have access until that time.

9. Third-Party Purchases

If you purchased a subscription or credits through a third-party platform (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store), refunds and cancellations must be processed through that platform's refund policy and procedures. Flashorts AI cannot process refunds for purchases made through third-party platforms.

Each platform has its own refund policies and timeframes. Please refer to the platform's terms of service and refund policy for information on how to request refunds for purchases made through their stores.

10. Account Termination

If we terminate your account due to a violation of our Terms and Conditions, you will not be entitled to a refund for any unused portion of your subscription or unused credits. Termination for cause is immediate and non-refundable.

If you voluntarily terminate your account, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period, but no refunds will be provided for the unused portion of your subscription.

11. Changes to This Policy

Flashorts AI reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to users via email or through a notice on our website.

Your continued use of our Services after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription in accordance with Section 2 of this policy.
